Sport: Champions League draw: Chelsea face Barcelona as the Manchesters Gets Easy Legs

Image
Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool were all delivered with highly favourable draws in the last-16 of the Champions League – although there will be less cause for celebration at Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. Even so there is a very real prospect that all five Premier League clubs could make it through to the quarter-finals. Chelsea appear to have been delivered the trickiest task as they were drawn against Barcelona - and will play at the Nou Camp in the second leg - for the first time since they triumphed in the semi-finals on their way to winning the Champions League in 2012. Barcelona will not relish facing Chelsea, either, although the English club will be kicking themselves. Had they won their group they would be facing Shakhtar Donestk, who have been drawn with Roma. For Spurs the reward for winning their group is a first meeting in European competition with last season’s finalists, Juventus, who are currently only third in Serie A but have a rich pedigree

Entertainment: Inside Selena Gomez's Relationship With Justin Bieber's Mom

Image
Who's as much of a fan of Selena Gomez as Justin Bieber? His mom. Pattie Mallette had nothing but praise for the 25-year-old pop star, who appeared to have rekindled her romance with her 23-year-old son a few weeks ago. They have not commented on their reunion and have yet to attend a celebrity event together since their reconciliation. "I don't know so much about their personal relationship because he doesn't share a whole lot, but I love her," Pattie told People on Saturday at the Justice Speaks Holiday Benefit Luncheon, where she was the keynote speaker. "I support anything [he does]. If he loves her, I love her, and I've met her and we have a special bond so I think she's precious." "I can't really speak on their relationship, that's between them," she added. Gomez and Bieber had dated on and off for about three years until 2014, the year he underwent some personal and legal turmoil. In 2012, Mallette praised Gome

According to him, it has not really been easy staying away from women. On his relationship status, the singer said; Quote I am not in a relationship at the moment because I have yet to meet a lady I like. I have been single for about a year now and I have not had sex with any woman since I’m not dating anyone. But I must admit that it is not always easy to stay away from women because they compliment us. If you are not successful, women will not come after you. I am aware that I must get married someday, but I don’t know when because I must plan things well. LIfestyle: Being Single; 4 Unwritten Laws

Image
Being single can be a personal choice or just a situation you find yourself in, but you should embrace it and enjoy it while it lasts. The reason why the laws of being single are unwritten is that there are no clear-cut laws for being single, hence the beauty of being single; you have no partner to think about but yourself for now. While there are no written laws to being single, there are some, behaviors that society expects you to exhibit. Do not confuse these actions to the stereotypes people have of single people in the community. For instance, single women are seen as not beautiful enough or promiscuous. While, single men are seen as playboys, mama’s boy, or unattractive. So without further ado here are some unwritten laws of being single that can be helpful to single people: 1. Do not lower your standards One of the advantages of being single is that you do not have to put up with someone else’s bad attitude just for peace sake or understanding sake. This means, as a si

Lifestyle: 5 Tips to Set Intentions and Stick to Them

Image
Good intentions. We all have them. It is what we do with them that truly counts. I find myself often having good intentions but then never following through to do them. How about you? Do you find yourself doing the same? What can you and I do to stick to those intentions? Let’s try some of these ideas. 1. Make a list or set a goal The first thing to do is to make a list or set your goal. List all the good intentions you have for the day and set a goal of how much you will accomplish from that list. 2. Prioritize your day I know for me, I get overwhelmed with all the things on my to do list. So, one idea I thought of was to prioritize the day. Take the to-do list and prioritize each item. Decide whether those things all must be done today or not. Set a deadline and write that date directly on the list so it can be seen daily. Do what is most important now and set aside the other things until later. Read Also: 7 Recovery Tips for When You Go Hard at the Gym 3. Start small

Religion: Pope Francis prays for peace in Nigeria

Image
CATHOLIC leader Pope Francis says he has been praying for peace and stability in Nigeria. The Pope made this known when he met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, in Saint Peters Square, Vatican City. The Speaker had led Nigerian delegation to the Holy See for a morning mass, where nationals and leaders from different countries of the world gathered to join His Holiness for the devotion and receive blessings from the Pontiff. Dogara, who described the meeting with Pope Francis as “awesome”, stated that he was pleasantly surprised and delighted to know that the pontiff is well-informed about the happenings in Nigeria. “The moment I was introduced to him as the Speaker of the Nigerian Parliament, he said, ‘how is Nigeria and how are you working for the peace of Nigeria?’” Dogara said. Pope Francis then told the Speaker that he always prays for peace in Nigeria, saying: “I pray for the peace of Nigeria and pray for me also.” The Speaker was acco

Lifestyle: 7 Recovery Tips for When You Go Hard at the Gym

Image
Have you been going hard at the gym lately in hopes of dropping some weight before the holidays but not seeing any changes? Even if you are eating right and working out often, you might be missing an important component of training. Fitness professionals and athletes know the importance of recovery, but do you? Without decent “recovery,” your body can’t heal and adapt to the stress of exercise. So to help you make the most of your recovery time after going hard in the gym, here are several tips: 1. Catch more zzzzs Sleep is something necessary. Some people need more of it than others, but everyone needs to sleep after crushing your goals in the gym. Sleep studies have proven that it is the prime time for the body to synthesize protein, aiding in the repair and growth of muscles and building endurance. For normal people, you should be at least getting 7 hours of quality sleep when you are working out often. For athletes, you might need up to 9 hours for the body to fully recov

Lifestyle: 5 Types of People Who Ghost

Image
Dating is a true gauntlet. You joust your way through losers to find someone who seems worthwhile, only to soon find they pulled a disappearing act. Now, you are knocked flat and wondering why this person ghosted you. Or maybe, you have done the ghost for a legitimate reason, like a lack of chemistry or the inkling your date was not that nice a person. Either way, there are people who are actually more likely to ghost than others. Here is a look at the types of people who ghost most often so you know what to look for: 1. Tattooed baddies Okay, not every “wild child” has tattoos, but they might have other signs, like partying, drinking and drug use. They might be a real (or figurative) rock star. Though dates with these type of people are going to be a whirlwind of fun and spontaneity, it is most often one night and then you never hear from them again. 2. Male feminists Watch out for the “pro-choice” flag waving, pink pussy cat hat wearing men out there who think attending o

News: British Hairdresser found Guilty of deliberately infecting Men with HIV

Image
In what is an unprecedented move in England, a man has been found guilty of deliberately infecting people with the HIV virus. Daryll Rowe, a hairdresser, attempted infecting 10 men he met on Grindr with HIV, succeeding in 4 cases. According to Telegraph, he was, on Wednesday, convicted of five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent, and five counts of attempting to do so. Rowe had reportedly told his victims that he was HIV negative, pushing that they have unprotected sex. Whenever the victims insisted on using a condom, Rowe would reportedly tamper with the condoms, causing them to rip. He’d later send mocking text messages to the men, telling them he had infected them with HIV. “Maybe you have the fever. I came inside you and I have HIV LOL. Oops!” one of the men said Rowe texted him. Rowe was reportedly diagnosed with HIV in 2015, and refused vaccination for common illnesses HIV-positive patients are susceptible to. He also refused antiretroviral drugs which s
