News: Barrack and Michelle Obama share inspiring letter to mark International Women's Day

Barrack Obama and Michelle Obama celebrated International Women's Day yesterday by sharing a letter the former US First lady received from a female fan. The letter which came in the mail just a day after the former US President and First Lady left the White House was only seen by the couple after they returned from their vacation. Before sharing the letter titled "I'm in", Barrack shared a short note to accompany it. He wrote; “When Michelle and I came back from vacation, we found this note from a woman named Sindhu waiting for us. I’m proud of Michelle for the difference she made in this young woman’s life, and I’m inspired by Sindhu’s story — so I thought I’d share it with you today.” In her letter, Sindhu wrote about the very first time she met Michelle, Twenty-one years ago, and how Michelle got her fired up to make something out of her life. NEWS: Canada based singer, Stephanie Otobo, accused of trying to blackmail Apostle Suleman of N500m

A Toronto, Canada based female singer, Stephanie Otobo, is presently in the police net allegedly for leading a 5-man gang to demand N500 million from famous Nigerian preacher and president of the Omega Fire Ministries Int'l, Apostle Johnson Suleman. A statement from the church alleged that the lady who claimed that Apostle Suleman was her lover and that he promised him marriage was found to belong to a cartel Comprising four male members who were identified as serial blackmailers by the police. Stephanie was said to have been arrested about two weeks ago by the IG Intelligence and Monitoring Unit alongside one Wisdom who is said to be the gang leader. Singer, Runtown is expecting his first child with his American based girlfriend, Selena. The two have been in a relationship for a while now and she is already 6 months and 2 weeks gone. Few weeks ago, she shared a loved up photo with Runtown and wrote; "Distance never separates two hearts that really care, for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there. But whenever I start feeling sad, because I miss you, I remind myself how lucky I am to have someone so special to miss..." Runtown replied the with love emojis.  She recently showed off her baby bump and tagged Runtown to the post. 

TVShow: TIME magazine names Trevor Noah a 'next generation leader'

South African comedian and TV host, Trevor Noah, has been named as one of TIME's Next Generation Leaders. The Daily Show host was honoured after his massive contribution, which has doubled the show's international reach and made him the master of the eloquent Trump-takedown, since his debut in 2015. Speaking on the accolade, he said: 'I inherited a sense of humor from my mom, the ability to laugh in the face of danger,' Noah tells TIME. ⠀

Either Tunde Ednut didn't watch the show after Kemen was evicted to understand what really happened or he's in the category of people who don't understand the meaning of consent. Ednut took to his IG page to defend Kemen after his disqualification. According to the singer, since Tboss didn't shout or complain after she briefly woke up as Kemen molested her, there's nothing wrong with his actions. The true meaning of consent seems to evade Ednut and someone needs to educate him...

NEWS: Donald Trump suffers wardrobe malfunction

The United States President, Donald Trump, visited St. Andrews Catholic School in Orlando, but what caught people's attention was his necktie. It was a windy day and the wind tossed his necktie, revealing that he uses scotch tape to keep the two ends of his necktie together and this is something he's been doing for a while. The necktie looks normal when it's flat on his chest but once it's flying in the air, the scotch tape makes it look really tacky. More photos after the cut.

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has debunked claims by UK newspaper, The Guardian, that his administration rejected offer by British forces to rescue the school girls abducted in Chibok, Borno State by Boko Haram terrorists in 2014. NEWS: "Nigeria's economy looks as sick as its missing and ailing leader." American based news network shades Nigeria

CNBC, an American based news network threw shades at Nigeria in an article published on their website. According to them, our economy look as sick as our ailing president.
