Hollywood actor, Michael Mantenuto died on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the age of 35. Announcing his death,  U.S. Army Col. Guillaume Beaurpere wrote in a Facebook post  on Wednesday  that Mantenuto sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  "Those of you that knew Mike will remember him for his passionate love for his family and his commitment to the health of the force," he wrote. Mantenuto was a former college hockey player who served in Beaurpere's unit when he enlisted in the Army after his acting career.  He is survived by his wife, Kati Vienneau, and two children, Ava and Leo.

It's barely 24 hour to the first 100 days of US president, Donald Trump in office. Reflecting on his time so far, Trump in a recent interview with Reuters said,  'I loved my previous life, I loved my previous life. I had so many things going. Former United States first lady Michelle Obama spoke during the AIA Conference on Architecture 2017 on April 27, 2017, in Orlando, Florida. This marked Michelle Obama’s first public speeches at the Orlando Conference since leaving the White House. During the appearance, the 53-year-old former First Lady made it clear that she has no plans of running for office in the future. According to her, “It’s all well and good until you start running, and then the knives come out. Politics is tough, and it’s hard for a family … I wouldn’t ask my children to do this again because, when you run for higher office, it’s not just you; it’s your whole family. Former Liverpool chief executive officer Ian Ayre says the club did not complete the signing of Dele Alli as a teenager because they felt he was not worth the fee MK Dons were seeking. Alli grew up as a Liverpool fan and met with then-manager Brendan Rodgers ahead of a potential transfer. However, Liverpool and MK Dons could not agree a deal and the 18-year-old eventually completed a £5 million transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in February 2015. “There was interest in the player, but where it got to was that the demands at that time were not fitting to what he had achieved at that point,” Ayre said at a lecture in Liverpool on Wednesday. “We didn’t feel the player matched that demand. China said on Thursday it was positive that the United States is open to resolving tensions over North Korea through talks. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed says he “never said that President Muhammadu Buhari is to work from home henceforth”. In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, the minister said the reporting in a section of the media of his post – Federal Executive Council (FEC) briefing that the President is to work from home henceforth is erroneous. In the rebuttal by his media aide, Segun Adeyemi, the minister said “the President only decided to work from home today, not that he has decided to work from home henceforth”. He said the headlines in a section of the media, “Buhari to now work from home – Lai Mohammed,” is a misrepresentation of his statement at the briefing. Quoting verbatim the relevant section of his briefing, Alhaji Mohammed said: “he (the President) wanted to rest today. He asked the Vice President to preside over today’s meeting. In addition, he also asked that all his files be taken home to him and he will be working from home today,” he said.

Erstwhile President of the United States, Barack Obama has announced that what he will be doing in his post-presidential life is to help the next generation get active in politics.
