Federal Government Arranging Foreigners To Testify Against Me, Kanu Says

Image
Detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday, alleged plot by the Federal Government to import foreigners to testify against him. Kanu, who is facing trial alongside three other pro-Biafra agitators, Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, made the allegation on a day he was denied bail by trial Justice Binta Nyako of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court. Justice Binta refused to grant bail to any of the defendants pending the determination of the 11-count criminal charge the Federal Government preferred against them. Charges against the defendants border on reasonable felony and their alleged involvement in acts of terrorism. Their separate bail applications were predicated on sections 158, 162 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, as well as section 35 and 36 of the 1999 constitution, as amended. Read the piece below... The recent Governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states threw up a number of issues about the politics of succession in Nigeria. In Edo state, you would think it was the then incumbent Governor Adams Oshiomhole seeking re-election. He campaigned more than the candidate.  He danced, waved the broom, his party’s symbol, far more enthusiastically than the man who wanted the office... He even did more to put down the opposition and any likely threat to Godwin Obaseki’s ambition. His pretty wife was always in tow during the campaigns, and did she dance? Oh yes, she did too. Godwin Obaseki’s emergence as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in that election caused much disaffection within the party. He was said to be Oshiomhole’s anointed candidate with the allegation that everything was being done to ensure his victory at the polls. Oshiomhole had his way. This is a sponsored post.. Making money online is not as easy as it's made out to be. There are a host of so-called ‘opportunities' out there, but most of them end up going nowhere fast: Affiliate marketing or any type of selling online is a LOT of hard work. As an affiliate marketer you're effectively putting money into someone else's pockets for all your own efforts. Online marketing is overly competitive, time-consuming, frustrating - certainly not the way to make good money. Forex and binary options trading are highly complex, fast-paced and risky. Only for the experts in the field or for people who have money to throw away - not for those looking for a sure and reliable way to make money. Revenue sharing sites can appear promising at first glance, but most of them can't be trusted. Some of them are outright scams, set up simply to steal people's hard-earned money. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to money-making sc...
