Yes I sure will, only if we had a decent break up. Sometimes we make wrong choices in partners, but that doesn’t mean he or she is a bad person, it’s just the simple fact that we both couldn’t get along like we thought or hoped we would. But in a case where he was abusive, violent or treated me like rubbish… then I will have no choice but to totally avoid him.

It depends on how the relationship ended. An ex is not meant to be an enemy, he is meant to your best friend because he or she know is supposed to know 80% about you. Sometimes, due to nasty break-ups as a result of cheating and so on, you just know that you both shouldn’t even see face-to-face. An ex is still meant to be your friend but it all depends on how you guys broke up. In some cases, you both sit down and agree on why you both can’t continue with the relationship and why you should still remain friends. It depends on the terms on which we separated. If it was a harsh separation then I won’t but if we agreed and came to an understanding, then I will friends with him. Although it will be very difficult because you can never tell, feelings might begin to develop and it will be very bad especially when he has moved on with another girl and I have done same with another guy. Before going into a relationship, I always like being friends with the person involved so as to know if we are compatible as friends. Well, first and foremost before I go into a relationship the person will have to be my friend so I can really relate on a personal level. Even when the relationship is defined to be an intimate one, I will like it to be such that we have an edge, which is that of friendship so whatever storms we have we can weather it together. Also, we can talk about anything and resolve our differences. If we have to break up due to irreconcilable differences, it’s understandable but that shouldn’t stop us from being friends, because we have always been friends anyways. It depends on what caused our separation and how it happened. If we broke up on a friendly note, maybe due to family or health issues then we will still be good friends, but if it has to do with infidelity  or maltreatment, then we don’t have anything to do with each other again because it’s of no use. Some ex’s can really be a pain in the ass especially when they know your weakness. Even when you’ve moved on and still decide to be friends with them, they’ll take advantage and keep coming back, you will think they’ve changed but they’ll break your heart again and leave. They will always come back whenever you have a new relationship, they don’t need you and they won’t allow someone that is serious to have you, they will just turn you to a toy.
