Tech firm trains teachers in new e-learning technology

Chips Bits and Bytes has commenced a
nationwide training for teachers and academic instructors on how to use a
new electronic technology and power solution in eradicating examination
failure, especially among pupils, through a content-based interactive
solutions.
The firm said that it pioneered the
solution about 10 years ago and had since then silently resolved issues
around e-learning for its vast clients.
Its Managing Director, Tunji Ola, said
that no pupil should ever fail examination in Nigeria again, if the 21st
century teaching methods were used.
According to him, the firm brings to
schools a solution that automates the entire teaching and learning
process, which transforms schools from the regular white board marker
and notebooks into an electronic interactive board and student-teacher
computer experience.
“The most exciting part is the absolutely engaging, interactive and impactful e-contents for learners of all ages,” Ola said.
“We also provide sustainable power
solutions, inverter solutions and solar power systems for classrooms,
hostels and offices within school,” he stated.
He said that the technology had a
profound effect on every aspect of life, “and so, schools are investing
wisely in the acquisition of technology to drive the teaching and
learning process, therefore, making learning more stimulating,
enjoyable, productive and relevant for today’s digital learners.”
Ola also said, “With our systems support
solutions, we provide preventive, corrective and routine maintenance of
systems and peripherals. All our deployments are sufficiently supported
with teacher training and monitoring.”
According to him, Chips Bits and Bytes
has been privileged to have served over 500 schools across the nation
since the development of the solution about 10 years ago.
He stressed that the desire of the firm was to see Nigerian schools fully equipped to meet global standards.
Ola listed some of the schools already
benefitting from the technology as Trinity International School, Ofada;
Access Schools, Calabar; Karis School, Magodo, Lagos; Hopespring
Foundation School, Port Harcourt; Bloombered Schools, Port Harcourt; and
Diamond Private School, Ikoyi, among others.
